The TrawsCymru T1C service provides a new direct link between Aberystwyth, Carmarthen and Cardiff.

This service is currently suspended until further notice due to the impact of the Coronavirus outbreak.


Key elements of the service:-

  • New fast limited TrawsCymru T1C stop coach service;
  • The service will operate 7 days per week;
  • This new express coach service will reduce ‘end to end’ journey times between Aberystwyth and Cardiff to 3 .5 hours;
  • The service will leave Aberystwyth Bus Station at 09.30 and arrives into Cardiff City Centre (Penarth Road) at 13.05 and returns from Cardiff at 16.45 arriving in Aberystwyth at 20.39;
  • The new T1C coach service will call into Port Talbot Bus / Rail Interchange – 7 days per week;
  • A new connecting bus service T1S will operate between Carmarthen – Cross Hands – Swansea. Passengers wishing to travel to / from Swansea from west Wales will be required to connect between the T1C coach and T1S bus at Carmarthen Bus Station.
  • The T1S bus service will also serve the National Botanic Gardens;
  • The T1C coach service will operate via Swansea on Sundays; and
  • TrawsCymru Day Ticket is valid on the service £11 per person or £27 for a family ticket.
